A forest fire near Montitxelvo in the Valencia region of Spain, which started the previous day, is still burning. Despite the efforts of firefighters, strong winds caused the flames to spread through the night, consuming about 1,400 hectares of land. Evacuations have been carried out in several municipalities, with at least 600 people forced to leave their homes and an additional 800 as a precaution. The Valencia autonomous administration has requested help from the Military Emergency Unit (UME), and the cause of the fire is under investigation, with no known origin.
