Çarpanak Island in eastern Türkiye’s Lake Van is attracting nature lovers and photographers with its springtime scenery. Covered in snow during winter, the island now features blossoming almond trees and active seagull nesting grounds. Known locally as “Seagull Island,” it is accessible by boat and home to a historic church. Visitors tread carefully to avoid disturbing the seagulls’ eggs. A recent nature walk by Vadi Nature Sports Club highlighted the island’s natural charm. Organizers urged tourists to respect wildlife during the egg-laying season.
