The Kürtün Stadium, which opened in 2020 on the mountains of Gümüşhane’s Kürtün district in Turkey, astounds the locals and visitors. The stadium was built by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and it is located on the top of a hill that can be reached through curvy roads.
Athletes playing football in the Kurtün stadium, which draws attention with its resemblance to the Ottmar Hitzfeld Stadium used by the team named FC Gspon in Switzerland, said that they wanted to play a friendly match by inviting the FC Gspon team to Kürtün because of this similarity.
