Hundreds of people gathered in Tomas Frias University’s indoor gym in Potosi, Bolivia, for the student election council. Tear gas grenades were thrown after an argument broke out in the crowd. After the smoke filled the hall, hundreds of people tried to flee in a stampede. Four people were killed and 70 were injured in the stampede.
