Steel Homes Rebuild Quake-Hit Village in Türkiye

In Türkiye’s Kahramanmaraş province, construction of 80 steel-structured village homes continues in Kazanlıpınar, a neighborhood severely affected by the February 6, 2023 earthquakes. Led by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the project aims to provide modern, earthquake-resistant housing. Local headman Cuma Çamkömür said 68 homes are near completion, with the remaining 12 underway.
