During his time in charge, the team played 20 matches, achieving 12 wins, 5 losses, and 3 draws. Under his leadership, the team participated in FIFA World Cup qualifiers, UEFA 2024 European Championship qualifiers, and UEFA Nations League matches. Kuntz’s tenure included both successes, such as promotion to League B in the Nations League, and setbacks, including a defeat to Portugal in the World Cup qualifiers play-offs. Kuntz’s statements, particularly following a draw against Armenia, had drawn criticism during his tenure.

In Hatay, Türkiye, excavator operator Bülent Kuyucu paused work for 27 days to protect a dove’s nest on his machine. Kuyucu did not work to avoid disturbing the birds until the dove chicks safely flew away.
Kuyucu said he accepted the financial loss but was happy to see the doves leave unharmed.
