A high school teachers and students from Gebze in Turkey organized a meaningful event on the occasion of 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. In the school garden, 200 students and four teachers formed moon and star on a map of Turkey. The students later waved the Turkish flag inside the map. This student-teacher choreography was viewed from the air.
Emphasizing that they aim to raise national consciousness and awareness among the youth, student Ceylan Sevim said, “We celebrate the 19th of May, Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, with our young people walking in the footsteps of Atatürk and in the light of science.”
