Sumela Monastery, located in Maçka district of Trabzon, Türkiye and one of the most important tourism centers of the Black Sea region, was covered in white after the heavy snowfall in the region, amazed local and foreign tourists.
“I live in Alanya and we miss the snow there. There is a wonderful atmosphere. I hadn’t been here for a long time. It has become even more beautiful after the restoration work. We will return to Alanya after visiting Ayder and Uzungöl,” said Miraç Sağlam, a visitor.
“I thought Sumela Monastery would be beautiful on a snowy day. The snow and the view are very beautiful. It has become much more beautiful after the restoration work,” says Mehmet Can, another visitor from Istanbul.
