Despite the end of the summer season, touristic activities continue in the ‘Cittaslow’-titled district of Akyaka, located in Turkey’s Muğla province. Nature lovers who want to extend their holiday can enjoy Akyaka Beach, with its sea, sand, and sun. Additionally, boats for tours to Women’s Azmağı depart from the beach.
“Simply awesome. This is a place to be experienced and seen,” says a visitor.
“Summer never ends in Akyaka. It is very crowded and lively. People heading to Marmaris, Datça, or Fethiye want to stop by here and take the Azmak tour on their way back. We host them with our new, solar-powered, and environmentally friendly boats,” said Captain Şadi Durmaz, a member of Akyaka Azmak Tour and Passenger Carriers Cooperative.
