Valley Nature Search and Rescue Sports Club climbed the summit of Mount Süphan, Türkiye’s second largest mountain with an altitude of 4,058. During the climb, it was observed that many glaciers melted due to global warming.
“We witnessed that a large part of the glacial valley on the south side melted due to global warming. Many lakes, large and small, at the summit, dried up. The glaciers are rapidly melting due to global warming. Humankind is winning the war against the nature,” said Club President Ömer Demez.
