The historical “Suruç Dome Houses” in Şanlıurfa, Türkiye, have attracted great interest from visitors since their reopening for visits after their reconstruction was completed.
These structures, which are made of sun-dried mud bricks, have been preferred in this region for years, as they have the feature of keeping their dwellers cool in summers and warm in winters. The houses also have the ability to survive for hundreds of years as they are plastered inside and out with goat hair, salt, and mud.
