Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command’s Gendarmerie Crime Investigation Team (JASAT) traced an approximately 500 years old silk Persian carpet which stolen on August 2020 in Silivri district of Istanbul, Turkey. The stolen Persian carpet contains compositions from Safavid Dynasty and describes the war between Abbas the Great and Ottoman Empire. As a result of performed precise works, teams reached the information that M.K., T.B. and İ.A. named 3 suspects looking customers for wanted carpet. After all the tracking and works, teams determined that suspects resided in Faith district of Istanbul. Later on JASAT teams hit the button for operation and carried out a bust on the suspects address. In the operation, 3 suspects caught red-handed while trying to sell the Persian carpet. 3 detainees forwarded judicial authorities after their statements were taken.

The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that Israel’s attacks on Gaza have killed 62,895 people and injured 158,927 since October 7, 2023. In the last 24 hours alone, 76 people were killed and 298 injured.
At aid distribution points, deaths have risen to 2,158, with nearly 16,000 wounded. The ministry also said 10 more civilians, including two children, died of starvation, bringing Gaza’s hunger-related death toll to 313.
