The Swedish government has completely lifted the measures taken against the Covid-19 in the country. After the decision, cafes and restaurants started to work at full capacity. Social distance is not being applied at mass events. It is not necessary to be vaccinated against Covid-19 or to present a negative Covid-19 test result to participate in the events. The Swedish government has called for citizens, who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19 in the country, to keep social distance from people outside their immediate surroundings, and to avoid close contact with people in the risk group or over 70-year- olds. Sweden’s Director-General of Public Health Johan Carlson, said in a statement on the decision that these guidelines mean that unvaccinated people should avoid attending major events such as theatre, concerts and sporting.
