A flag raising ceremony, attended by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, was held in Brussels, for Sweden, which completed its accession process to NATO following the approval of Türkiye and Hungary.
“We welcome Sweden into NATO at the critical time for our shared security,” Stoltenberg said in his speech.
