Heavy rain and melting snow triggered floods and landslides in the south of Switzerland. A large part of the canton of Valais was flooded. Transportation to the tourism town Zermatt, was interrupted due to a landslide on the road to the town. Meanwhile in the canton of Grisons, a landslide buried houses in the village of Sorte in the city of Lostallo.
