Syria’s Interior Ministry said five suspects were detained in an operation against ISIS following an attack in the Palmyra region that killed three US citizens, including two soldiers.
The raid was carried out in Homs province in coordination with Syrian intelligence and international coalition forces. Authorities said the attack targeted a joint patrol and vowed to respond firmly to terrorism.
