Following the collapse of Syria’s 61-year Baath regime, citizens are searching for possessions seized by regime forces. Adnan Meddehani, a Damascus resident, has been visiting military barracks to locate his truck, which was forcibly taken in 2015.
“They seized my truck while I was driving, claiming it would be returned in a few days. Instead, it was transferred to customs and then military barracks. I’ve been searching for it ever since,” Meddehani stated.
