syrian president meets putin in moscow after 6 years

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Syrian President Bashar Assad met yesterday at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow, Russia. During the meeting, the political situation in Syria, the fight against international terrorism, bilateral and humanitarian cooperation were discussed. Putin expressed his pleasure to host Assad in Moscow and congratulated him for his victory in the elections held on May 26 in Syria.
