The Kalamış coast in Istanbul's Kadıköy district has been flooded due to rising water levels and giant waves during the southerly winds, temporarily putting the pedestrian path on the coast out of use.

The recent lodos caused red seaweeds to drift to the coastal areas in Çanakkale, Türkiye, painting some beaches and shores, such as Yeni Kordon, in red and forming a unique view.
