Baykar Technology owner Selçuk Bayraktar, who was in Baku for the Aviation, Space and Technology Festival “TEKNOFEST”, which will take place in Azerbaijan between May 26-29, was awarded the title of “honorary doctorate” by Azerbaijan Technical University (AZTU). Turkey Baku Ambassador Cahit Bağcı and Azerbaijan Deputy Minister of Education Firudin Gurbanov also attended the program, where Selçuk Bayraktar met with students and faculty members at AZTU and made a presentation. In his presentation, Bayraktar gave information to the students about the modern technology “CEZERİ” project and the new projects he was working on.

Reminding that 2 AKINCI unmanned aerial vehicles flew 2,000 kilometers from Western Thrace in Turkey to Baku yesterday, Bayraktar said, “Yesterday, while AKINCI was flying over Baku skies, I had the chance to fly on a Mig-29 fighter plane with AKINCI. This has been a dream for me since childhood. It was exciting. There will also be surprise shows at TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan. I invite all our nation, the whole Turkish world and the whole world of humanity to TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan.”
