The Syrian National Army (SNA), as part of Operation Freedom Dawn, has liberated Tel Rifaat from the PKK/YPG. Following the operation, the White Helmets are clearing explosives planted on roads leading to the area.
SNA forces continue to advance in the region, with bomb detection and removal efforts ongoing. An SNA soldier described the operation, stating, “The wall built by the PKK became a grave for many. We demolished it and opened the road. Thank God, everything is safe now.”
