An attack was carried out at around 2:00 at night on a police station in the town of Rask in the Sistan and Baluchestan province of southeastern Iran. Deputy Governor of Sistan and Baluchistan Province Ali Riza Merhameti reported that 12 officers were killed and 7 others were injured. Many terrorists were killed in the conflict that broke out, said Merhameti.

The organization called Ceyşü’l Adl claimed responsibility for the attack.
