Thailand’s Constitutional Court has ruled to dismiss 67-year-old Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, who appointed Pichit Chuenban, who was sentenced to 6 months in prison for attempted corruption, to the cabinet.
At the press conference he held after the court’s decision, Thavisin said that he was sure of his honesty and did not agree with the decision.
An interim leader will be elected in Thavisin’s place until the parliament elects a new prime minister.
