Thailand has announced the urgent evacuation of its citizens from Iran via Türkiye following a sharp decline in regional security. Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow stated that while over 100,000 Thais are in the Middle East, the priority is moving those in Iran to safety. Evacuation convoys are scheduled for March 7 and 10, traveling by road to the Kapıköy border crossing in Türkiye. Meanwhile, officials denied reports of a new military agreement with the U.S. regarding bases in Thailand. Despite the regional tension, most Thai citizens in Israel have reportedly chosen to remain.
