The Flood-Submerged Şanlıurfa Museums Reopen

After undergoing restoration post the March 15 flood disaster, Şanlıurfa Archeology Museum and Haleplibahçe Mosaic Museum have reopened. Şanlıurfa Archeology Museum now boasts 81 new neolithic artifacts, including the world’s first life-size “human statue,” “wild boar,” and “red vulture” statues. The museum showcases beads-made ornaments and artifacts from historical sites like Göbeklitepe and Karahantepe, known as “the zero point of history.”
