Floods and landslides following heavy rains in the western Peruvian city of Huanuco on Monday damaged several vehicles and destroyed 30 homes. Authorities said 300 families were affected by the disaster.
The Peruvian government has declared a state of emergency due to the devastation caused by the heavy rains, and efforts have begun to clean up, remove debris and help families in the affected areas.
No deaths have yet been reported in the disaster.
