Thirty of the endangered species gazella gazella at the Şanlıurfa 75th Year Gazelle Breeding Station in the Şanlıurfa province of Türkiye were released into the Cudi Mountain in the Silopi district of Şırnak. The gazella gazella, some of which were equipped with GPS trackers, quickly headed towards the mountain when the gates were opened.
Şanlıurfa Nature Conservation 3rd Regional Manager Hakan Mumcuoğlu said that they started breeding the species with 86 individuals at their station in 2006 and that there are now 454.
