Lebanese and Syrian families in Lebanon have begun to flee to Syria due to Israel’s intense attacks. Many vehicles and flocked to the border, creating kilometers of traffic at the Jdeidat Yabous crossing, while some families who did not own a vehicle crossed the border on foot.
A total of 17,700 people, including 3,800 Lebanese, have reportedly crossed the border into the Syrian countryside of Damascus as of Wednesday.
The total loss of life in Israel’s attacks on Lebanon since Monday, September 23, has reached 654.
