A massive shipment of electric vehicles from China was delivered to Safiport Derince in Kocaeli, Türkiye, by the BYD Changzhou transport ship. The vessel, operated by Chinese EV giant BYD, arrived on April 5 after a 39-day voyage from Ningbo Port with around 7,000 new vehicles.
Aerial footage showed thousands of zero-kilometer vehicles lined up at the port, drawing public attention. The vehicles are set to be distributed within Türkiye and exported abroad.
