At least 5,000 migrants have reached Spain’s Ceuta from neighbouring Morocco. Spanish media says Moroccan border guards did not stop migrants who include hundreds of minors. They were taken to a migrant reception centre.
The Spanish government has deployed troops to Ceuta to patrol the border with Spanish police.
