Despite the blockade of Israel, around 45,000 Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem attended Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa mosque. Israeli forces, on the other hand, raided the courtyards of Al-Aqsa mosque after the prayer and lifted the Palestinian flag hung on a wall.
Sheikh Omar Al-Kiswani, Director of the Masjid Al-Aqsa Foundation, had called for gathering at Masjid al-Aqsa in order to react to the raids carried out by fanatical Jews yesterday.
