Two passenger trains collided near the town of Milavce in western Czechia. Three people were killed and 40 were injured. While 6 passengers are in critical condition, the victims are reported to be two engine drivers and a female passenger. The crash occurred after one of the drivers violated the stop signal at Radonice crossing, said the Czech minister of transport Karel Havlicek.

At a joint press conference with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Healey emphasized continued support for Ukraine, noting that despite civilian casualties and destruction in Ukrainian cities, “Putin is continuing the war.” He stressed the urgency of a ceasefire and reaffirmed the Ukraine Defense Contact Group’s commitment to bolstering aid: “We must increase our efforts and never back down.”
