The Motocross World Championship, the pinnacle of world motorbike racing, concluded in Afyonkarahisar, Türkiye, this year after a thrilling series of races. In the Junior Motocross Championship (MX 2), Dutch racer Simon Laengenfelder emerged as the winner. A forest fire broke out in the Fatih neighborhood of Aksu, Antalya, Türkiye, around 9:40 a.m. Firefighting teams have been deployed by air and ground to contain the blaze and prevent its spread.
