Titanic Wreckage Revealed in Stunning 3D Image

The Titanic wreckage, renowned worldwide due to its depiction in novels and films, has been seen with unprecedented clarity for the first time. A 3D image of the ship, which sank in 1912 after colliding with an iceberg and resting at a depth of 3,800 meters in the Atlantic Ocean, has been created by combining 700,000 photos taken last year. This remarkable imagery is expected to provide new insights into the historic accident.

Led by Gerhard Seiffert, the extensive underwater project faced challenges due to the depth and currents, requiring utmost care to avoid damaging the wreckage.
