Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky released a video message in which he described Russian President Vladimir Putin’s statements about the ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine as “predictable” and “manipulative” and claimed that Putin was preparing to reject the ceasefire agreement.
“Putin is afraid to openly tell President Trump that he wants to continue this war and kill Ukrainians. That’s why those in Moscow come up with conditions that will lead to a deadlock and make the war last as long as possible. Putin often does this. He doesn’t say ‘no’ directly, but he prolongs the process and makes normal solutions impossible. We believe that all of this is new manipulation by Russia,” said the Ukrainian leader, also noting that Putin must be put under pressure with sanctions to end the war.
