The tornado and severe storm that was effective in Little Rock, the largest city in Arkansas state of the US, and surrounding towns caused the deaths of five people and brought life to a standstill. State Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders declared a state of emergency.

Meanwhile, in the state of Illinois, one person died when the roof of a hall where about 260 people gathered for the concert of the band Morbid Angel collapsed due to a severe storm.

On the other hand, 26 people died in the US state of Mississippi due to the tornado that was effective last week.

Portugal’s Civil Protection Service said one person died while battling flames near Mirandela, raising the death toll from this summer’s wildfires to three. Fifteen others were injured near Sabugal.
