A tornado wreaked havoc in some residential areas in Sumedang town and Bandung city in Indonesia’s West Java province. A total of 534 buildings and factories were damaged, and 33 people were injured across the affected areas. Authorities described the tornado as the most destructive one that has ever been seen in the country.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced he would soon accept President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s invitation to visit Türkiye.
