A church, a medical center and a school were destroyed in the Idabel city in Oklahoma, where the tornado caused extensive damage. “There was total destruction on the south and east sides of Idabel,” Steven Carter, an emergency management coordinator for McCurtain County, said.
Authorities stated that, at least 50 houses were damaged or destroyed in Lamar County, Texas, where 10 people injured.
