Despite citizens grappling with heavy snowfall and cold weather in Erzurum province, the Tortum Waterfall and its surroundings, situated 106 kilometers away from the city center, remain immersed in spring-like conditions. This natural wonder, drawing tens of thousands of visitors annually, continues to welcome numerous tourists.
Uzundere has been designated as the 11th ‘cittaslow’ in Turkey by the International Cittaslow Association.
