In the Bodrum district of Muğla, Turkey, tourists enjoy the sea, sand and sun in October. Despite the month of October, the air temperatures in Bodrum reached 29 celcius. The density of tourists continues on the beaches all over the district, especially on the beaches of Kumbahçe, Paşatarlası, Gümbet and Bitez.
According to a local official, major hotels will remain open until October 31, with occupancy rates reaching 60% in October.
In Gümüşhane’s Dumanlı Village, 38 nature lovers from GÜDAK took part in a 14-kilometer nature walk along the “Lost Santa Road” through the Santa Ruins. Amid fog, drizzle, bird sounds, and blooming flowers, participants followed stone-paved forest paths past historic churches, fountains, and bridges dating back to the 17th century. Known as “Paradise in the Valley,” the Santa Ruins, with seven neighborhoods of centuries-old architecture, offered a blend of natural beauty and deep-rooted history.
