Twenty-two died after a tractor carrying 60 passengers on its truck fell into a pond in India. There are 11 women and 11 children who lost their lives in the incident. However, the search and rescue efforts still continue.
Police reported that the incident broke out as the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Indian Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath said he was sorry about the accident and that officials had been instructed to treat the injured appropriately.
Egyptian media reports that ceasefire talks between Hamas and Israel in Gaza, mediated by Qatar and Egypt, are set to resume next week. Israel is awaiting Hamas’s response to the ceasefire offer.
Israeli and US delegations, who were in Doha for negotiations, have returned home for consultations. The current agreement being discussed includes the exchange of hostages and prisoners, with plans for further talks on a permanent ceasefire and the release of additional hostages.
