The 24th edition of the Satave Gevrek Festival, which aims to strengthen the bond between Turkish and Georgian cultures, was held in the Şavşat district of Artvin, Türkiye. At an altitude of 1,700 meters in the Satave region, hundreds of participants perform the horon dance accompanied by folk songs in both Turkish and Georgian. The participants also barbecue across a beautiful landscape and enjoy gevrek, a flaky pastry that gave the festival its name.
