April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day was marked with enthusiasm at the Turkish Embassy in Tehran. Children took symbolic leadership roles, with student Kutay Berke Öngüt addressing global child suffering, saying, “The world is responsible for the hopeful eyes of Gaza’s children.”
Events included speeches, poetry readings, and performances at the embassy’s Turkish Primary School. The day emphasized peace, unity, and gratitude for Atatürk’s legacy, as students expressed hope for a future where all children can live in peace and celebrate freely.
