On a highway in the city of Oxchuc, Chiapas state of Mexico, a truck with a burst brake went downhill and crashed into a total of 6 vehicles, including 2 cars, 2 motor taxis, 1 passenger van and 1 truck. Four people lost their lives and 25 were seriously injured.
Following the accident, the truck driver was caught by the surrounding citizens and handed over to the security forces. The driver, then, was sent to the prosecutor’s office for his statement to be taken.
