US presidential candidate Donald Trump made a new election promise after his phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Referring to the Ukraine-Russia war on the Truth Social platform, Trump said, “…I, as your next President of the United States, will bring peace to the world and end the war that has cost so many lives and devastated countless innocent families.”
Meanwhile, Zelensky, who said on social media that he congratulated Trump’s candidacy and condemned the assassination attempt on which he was the target, said, “We agreed with Trump to meet to talk on the steps that can make peace fair and truly permanent.”
