At a White House press briefing with Israeli PM Netanyahu, US President Donald Trump said he has “great relations” with Türkiye’s President Erdoğan, adding, “I like him, he likes me.”

Trump rejected the EU’s proposal to eliminate tariffs on industrial goods, accusing Europe of unfair trade and insufficient NATO contributions. He reaffirmed that US tariffs will remain in place, saying, “We’re not considering suspending them.”

On Iran, Trump revealed direct talks are ongoing and warned of “great danger” if no deal is reached. Regarding Gaza, he called for a US-led control and suggested relocating Palestinians, calling it a “freedom zone.”

Trump also condemned Russia’s attacks on Ukraine, stating, “They are bombing like crazy.” Netanyahu echoed efforts to avoid conflict with Türkiye and announced progress on a new US-Israel hostage agreement.
