Trump Says War in Iran Will End Quickly

Speaking to Republican lawmakers at a conference in Doral, Florida, US President Donald Trump declared that the American military has decimated Iran’s naval and missile capabilities. He claimed that preemptive strikes by the US prevented an imminent nuclear attack that would have destroyed Israel and destabilized the broader Middle East. Asserting that the conflict will be over very quickly, Trump emphasized that allied forces will not stop until the threat is completely eliminated and global safety is restored. Shifting his focus back to the United States, the President also strongly advocated for the “Save America Act,” a proposed law that would heavily restrict mail-in voting and mandate proof of citizenship at the polls.
