Tunisia’s inflation rate is expected to reach 10.5 percent in 2023, up from 8.3 percent in 2022, according to Minister of Economy and Planning Samir Saied at a press conference to present the country’s finance law for 2023.
“The year 2023 will be difficult for Tunisians,” the minister predicted, adding that the Russia-Ukraine conflict will have an impact on the country’s fiscal balances.
The minister stated that a number of measures will be implemented in 2023 to improve the business environment in the country and to activate pending public projects.
