As part of the combat against irregular migration in Türkiye, immigrants continue to be deported to their countries. A total of 136 Afghan nationals, who were found to have entered the country illegally in Erzurum, were deported back to Afghanistan from Erzurum Airport in cooperation with the Gendarmerie and Migration Management Directorate.
Security measures along the country’s borders have been intensified. So far, a total of 12 deportation flights have been organized from Erzurum to Afghanistan.
