Turkey Rail System Utilities Industry Corporation, which was assigned in 2013 to produce national electric multiple units, is now ready to produce 240 aluminum carriage-bodies per year. The multiple units, produced with national resources were designed to meet high demands and expectations in terms of passenger satisfaction and comfort, with navigation safety in the foreground.
Multiple units are undergoing final tests. The have made a 10,000 kilometers during the tests. It is anticipated that the tests will be completed within 3 months, which has successfully passed many different tests applied in European standards, including more than 500 brake tests.
